We purchased a new 2026 Volkswagen Atlas SEL Premium R-Line from Group 1 Volkswagen in Panama City at the end of March. While the sales process was positive, our ownership experience has been extremely disappointing.
Problems began the day we brought the vehicle home, including issues with the camera system and other functions. We reported them immediately and brought the vehicle in for service.

I will never take my VW back to this dealership for service. Dropped it off on a Tuesday and did not get it back till the next Tuesday. Really disappointed with the estimates for service “needed” I have scheduled my car in for a second opinion with another mechanic. Really felt like it was all about the up sale of servicing “needed” but not really needed.
Staff was knowledgeable and communicated about issues and time-frames well. Brandon was especially helpful in answering questions and keeping me up to date on repairs.
Richard was so down to earth. Friendly. And was not a pushy salesman. I will recommend him to everyone.

First let me say my husband and I were headed to PCB on vacation. About halfway from Indiana we got a warning on our Tiguan saying to check oil levels. We stopped at 3am to check finding our vehicle low on oil. We didn’t have an option to get to a dealer in the middle of the night so bought oil to top off and continue to Florida. Excellent service for my routine oil changes/recall work with Mark assisting. Personable and professional. Always feels like he listens to my needs. TJ (Tyrone) was my salesperson this week; when I didn't even think I needed one. He made me an offer that 100% met my needs, when I assumed this offer wouldn't be on the table for me. He made my purchase seamlessly easy. Great conversation and concern for my needs. Also, a should out to Royce for his positive attitude and conversation during my shuttle home. Service Advisor Robert Jenkins was efficient and helpful. Lobby employees were also friendly even though I was not dealing directly with them. As usual the service tech completed my repairs and provided a detailed report.

This dealership it's great. Everybody is smiling and more than happy to help. I went in with the low tire and they checked my warranties and said yep you don't have to pay. And they even checked everything else in my car and let me know that my brakes needed to be redone in the back. I will go back again. I thank them very much for their help
Volkswagen, Panama City and my service advisor MATT were amazing. What I mean by amazing is Matt has gone out of his way to help in a bad situation. Unfortunately, our engine blew up in our Audi and being close to 5 PM. He arranged a driver to take us to Hertz car rental and kept us in communication as to the new engine. I have dealt with a lot of car dealers, but no one has the best service like Volkswagen a Panama City and Matt my service advisor.
