The VW ID.4 is designed to be comfortable and inviting so you want to spend time in the vehicle’s cabin. The five seats are cloth to keep you comfortable, and on chillier mornings, you can enjoy the standard heated front seats and heated steering wheel. To help you find the most comfortable driving position, the driver’s seat is 4-way manually adjustable with a 2-way power recline.

The VW ID.4 also has some customizable aspects, including the standard 10-color customizable interior ambient lighting. With this feature, you can match your mood to your music.

For a great view of the sky and to let lots of natural light in, the VW ID.4 has an available panoramic fixed glass roof. You can also keep the light out with the electric sunshade, activated with the swipe of a finger.

Interior Dimensions

There is enough space in the VW ID.4 for the whole crew to pile in with a total passenger volume of 99.9 cubic feet. This breaks down to 40.6 inches of headroom in the front row and 37.9 inches of headroom in the back row. You’ll get plenty of legroom, too, with 41.1 inches in the front and 37.6 inches of legroom in the rear.

You’ll still have plenty of space for luggage or errands too. With the rear seats up, you’ll get 30.3 cubic feet of cargo space, plenty for road trips or grocery shopping. If you’re picking up a small item of furniture, like a coffee table, and need to lower the rear seats, you get a total of 64.2 cubic feet of cargo space.

Technology

In the VW ID.4, there is plenty of technology to make your drive easier and more enjoyable. With the VW ID.4, you get a key fob and standard intuitive start. The vehicle senses your key fob in the vehicle, and when you sit in the driver’s seat, the VW ID.4 will wake up and turn on automatically.

The VW ID.4 also comes with a standard 10-inch touchscreen and infotainment system. You get voice recognition so you can keep your hands on the wheel and still access navigation, music, and your phone. Also standard are a wireless smartphone charger and wireless Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto™ integration, which lets you use your favorite smartphone apps without the need for cables.
