The design of the Volkswagen ID.4 EV reflects its electric nature. When outfitted with the available Gradient package, it will feature a sleek black roof, contrasting silver roof trim, silver accents, and silver roof rails to pair with a set of 20-inch wheels.
LED taillights and illuminated door handles, along with illuminated logos and a light line on the grille, give the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 EV an ultra-elegant appearance.
Interior
Inside and up top, an optional panoramic fixed glass roof will invite warm light and fresh air to fill the cabin. On extra sunny days, cover it with the electric sunshade by simply swiping your hand.
With seating for up to four people and 37.6 inches of rear legroom, everyone on board will enjoy room to stretch out. The 64.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down also allows you to load up your Volkswagen ID.4 EV with luggage, gear, equipment, and more.
Tech-wise, the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 EV offers an expansive, voice-controlled 12-inch touchscreen display that lets you switch between navigation, climate controls, and much more. The optional wireless charging box always keeps your smartphone device charged without the cords.
Another innovative feature you’ll find in the cabin of the Volkswagen ID.4 EV is the ID.Light. This is a light bar set into the dashboard. It informs you of key details like your charging levels, incoming calls, safety alerts, and more.

Available all-wheel drive in the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 EV delivers zippier acceleration, plus optimal handling thanks to the second electric motor positioned by the front wheels. When you push down on the pedal, you’ll experience the instantaneous torque of this mighty EV SUV.
The Manufacturer Estimated Range for the Volkswagen ID.4 EV Pro S and 1st Edition will be an incredible 250 miles. For extra convenience, it will come with an L1 charging cable. An L2 wall box charger will also be available for purchase and will provide faster charging.
On top of that, it will be able to charge up to about 60 miles in just ten minutes at Electrify America DC Fast Chargers located across the country. To help you take advantage of the more than 17,000 chargers, the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 EV comes with three years of unlimited charging at these public DC fast charging stations.
